I just got back from Bugorama, and I had a great time. Weather was a little crazy on the way over, we actually got a little rain! Once there my buddy and I set up camp, and quickly hit the swap. I didn't find much on Sat night, but did come up with some things I needed on Sunday. My car did great on the way over there, as well as on the way home, but I did earn my first rock chip. My buddy I went with drove his original paint 73 Thing, that hadn't been on the road since 86, and it ran flawless also. I didn't take any pics, but Everett did. Here is the link to the photos he took. www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_search.php?search_keywords=Sacramento+Bugorama+May+2012

I took this pic on the way over to the show. My buddy I was following, his speedo was off, and he had no idea how fast we were going. Who new an all original 36er could go so fast. I had it up to just over 70, and this was not downhill or with a tailwind either.

As you have said in the past Aaron these little motors are tough and bullet proof and they really can do 80 MPH. I took this pic on the way over to the show. That was a good time. With the top down on the Thing, I got a little cold on the way down, especially when we hit rain. The swap was good, and I managed to pick up some good stuff.
