Iv noticed most of you on here have all stock cars, this should be a change of pace. Don't have a BC yet but its a 1958 L245 light bronze hard top we had the rag instaled. Originaly out of so cal had a tree fall on it and was house painted the tan you see now, theirs still a piece of wood stuck in between the original window and the window seal. The re paint is from the early 60's, it sat for some time in cali untill a club member bought it in 2010 and it sat getting driven every blue moon. I bought it and drove it last year. I have the original 36hp and crashbox trans. But removed them to replace with a jay built freeway flyer and 1835cc class 11 motor. Its on a punch drunk customs 5" air beam and notched and extended spring plates done by me. Stock smoothies up front and 6.5" smoothies in the rear. I have a correct L245 front pass fender to replace the after market and a 59 4 tab hood to go on too. The car is near done for a little while next big thing to do is try and find the right colors for the interior. This car gets driven daily and in the past month and a half had 4, thousand mile plus road trips on it. Anyways here is a couple pics, sorry they are cell phone pics. We run a custom car photography company and don't have good pics of the car go figure

Good looking dash. One of the million reasons I love the 58/59's, all the different style radios that dealers would install. I really did the Big M with the cool faceplate in your car.

Thanks I wish I could figure out how to get the faceplate off, id like to clean it up but I can't get it off. The radio worked when the car was 6v. I haven't tryed it since I put the voltage regulator on when I converted. Id like to get it re built, does anyone know anyone or who re builds old radios?
