Cool pics. When I was a kid we had a little hole in the wall burger joint about the same size as the one picture. The fries and burgers were awesome. It closed down though back in the 80's.

Did you get to Castro Valley much? Use to be one right on the main drag in the late 70's early 80's, the best burgers ever. Chinese took it over and from that point on everything tasted like chow mein. Never went back.

Na, I don't get down that way to much. But, its funny you say that. We had a burger joint that was bought by a Chinese family also. They turned it into a half burger, half Chinese food place. It was the weirdest thing, you could order up a burger with a side of chow mien. lol
