I should be putting my 36 horse back together today, but I hate to be in the shop with the door closed. I need to paint the fan shroud, and the generator backing plate. Oh, and the exhaust too. The engine itself is all together, and I have great compression in all the cylinders. Everything else is ready to go. Even if I did get it running today, I wouldn't drive it in the rain. I haven't driven it in over 7 years, so the first time I drive it again, it will be sunny.

I agree rainy days suck. We have been lucky this week and have had some great weather. I know how it is not being able to take your car out. I wasnt able to take mine out for about ten years. Keep us posted on your engine build, and let us know how it goes. Make sure to post up a pic or two!

Well right after I posted the sun came out!! I was able to work until 6pm. I left the shop open, and went in for dinner, it started to rain again about 7pm, and it's still raining. Lots of thunder and lightning. I put the cylinder tin on, and the piece that goes by the firewall, along with the piece that goes under the fuel pump. I cleaned up the exhaust and heater boxes. I was able to get the exhaust painted. I used a dull aluminum, and it's close to the factory gray. One "J" tube had a hole in it, so I fabed up a piece and welded it up. I cleaned up the tin for the heater boxes, but didn't get it painted because of the rain starting again. Maybe next weekend it will be a runner. The plan is to get it running, then install the Judson, and the Judson magneto. I'll post a picture when it's all together.
